Nothing momentous to report, just that I drank bottle #1 of my very first all-grain batch and it is delicious. It's an APA with 2-row, Munich, CaraPils and Simcoe. Fermented with Wyeast 1272, the second generation of which is now fermenting an amber ale.

I know I made a lot of mistakes with the APA, but even so, this beer tastes head and shoulders above the three extract batches I made before it. And it's only 10 days in the bottle--I just couldn't wait to try it! So I know it'll continue to improve.

Anyway, I'm feeling pretty great about brewing right now.

Congrats...it took me a few batches to produce a quality product due to faulty thermometers.

Congrats I keg my AG batches and they are ready to drink in 5 days, I am force carbing my beer but it is awesome and way better than any BMC product
