I brewed my first all grain batch yesterday. A maris otter goldings smash and I nailed it. That is all.

I got a M.O. w/ Willemette aging now. It's my second SMaSH, and looking forward to it.

First was a 2row rahr w/ Willemette and it was awesome! A bit high in ABV though.

So I am drinking this now and it is absolutely the best beer I have made.
Thanks all you looney lupulin lovers.
Happy Friday

Nothing better than the experience of ag brewing. It just feels "right"

Agreed. I brewed my "first" all grain beer about a year ago. It felt like i'd been brewing that way all of my life. I tried my hand at it a number of years ago, but did it all wrong.... this year I finally stopped trying to do it my way, and decided to brew like the masses... brew kettle, cooler, etc... etc... My first AG batch went very smoothly. I just couldn't believe I hadn't been brewing that way since the beginning.

OP... I remember taking that step. It felt good.
