it went perfect. decided edwort's haus was a good one to start with, and it was easy as pie. thanks for the advice and info hbt, i look forward to trying more recipes (not to mention trying the beer)
its amazing what good planning will do, besides cleanup i think i managed to get done with the deal in 4 hours.

i think i'm going to toss centennial blonde on my newly forming yeast cake next

I brewed the same thing for my first all grain this weekend! I undershot on my volume and ended up with about 4.5 gallons at 1.060. I'm sure it will still taste great. AG is the shiz:rockin:
