First AG batch

Me and my brew buddies did our first AG batch yesterday. I don't think it could have gone any more smoothly for our first time. We need to work on measuring our volumes a little better, but we seem to have gotten almost 82% efficiency. We actually overshot our expected OG but just decided to leave it a bigger beer than planned rather than dilute.

Just smelling the mash and tasting the wort, this is gonna be well worth the extra effort. Actually, it took the same amount of time as the last few partial mash batches (and we made twice as much beer!)

I'm pretty sure all three of us are AG converts now!:mug:

Ain't it grand? Once you do it, you realize how it isn't hard. After I did my first AG, I wished I had converted sooner.
