Ok this is my first 10 gallon batch and I'm pretty excited. I just scored a converted keg on craigslist and I'm gonna do a ten gallon brew using my 48QT cooler as a mash tun. I want to make a nice refreshing wheat beer that will be good drinkin on hot summer days. Here's my recipe:mug:

Grains
11.5 Lbs 2 row
5 Lbs wheat
1 Lb crystal 10

Hops
60 min 1.75 oz Tradition 5.7%aau
15 min 1 oz Sterling 6%aau

Yeast
Reusing WLP029-Kolsch from Prior batch

Mash
single infusion at 149 F

SG 1.049
FG 1.011

24 IBUs

Looks like pretty much Kolsch, althought the purists would say it isn't!

Great looking recipe for the summer. Are you mashing at a lower temp to get the attenuation up?
