Finally joined up; hi everyone!

So, I've been lurking for a while whilst doing my first couple of brews, and have found the threads on here to be really helpful!

I'm a 34 year old guy from England who enjoys drinking beer, and so far have really enjoyed brewing my own as it's come out surprisingly well given the amount of mistakes I've made!

Anyway, pleasure to meet you all and looking forward to learning and passing those learnings on to others. Happy Christmas all!

And that's WHY it has come out so well. Anyone can make beer with virtually no mistakes, but that would be boring. Good beer is undeniably a process of randomly-orchestrated "mistakes". We all make them; we learn from them, and we grow in our craft from them, the end result of which is --- better beer. Welcome and Merry Christmas to you and yours on the other side of the pond!

Fair points, and actually I've loved making the mistakes as you learn from them for next time!
