Finally got my efficiency fixed

After a year of efficiencies consistently in the low 60s, I redesigned my MLT manifold. The old one drew from one side and also left about about a gallon of dead space. I redesigned it to sit flatter on the bottom and draw from the middle. I just brewed my first batch with it and got 83% on a double batch sparge.

The only problem is, now my hefe that was supposed to start at 1052 is starting at 1069. That's going to be one tough hefe.

Heh, it's not me I'm worried about. I've had beer commando training.

It's the poor amateurs I may serve it to that I have to worry about. Think about it, a nice, light-tasting, wheat beer that the women love. Now add to the mix that it's 7.5% ABV.

The next BBQ is going to be fun.

I have an out of state nephew coming over tonight. He said he would like to try about a six pack of homebrew. I have 9 different batches to sample and all are high ABV.
