After four ruined and dumped batches, I got two good ones to keg. I think the problem was a mix of alzheimers mother n law meddling and not realizing that dawn dish soap and star San is not a Great cleaning combo.
On to the good news. I brewed a American Cream Ale from brewers best nd a pear cider. Both turned out really nice. Ale was og 1.038 fa 1.003 4.2% abv and cider was 5% abv.
Thinking of adding gelatin later tonight to the ale. I added sweet dried orange peels and lemon zest for an extra citrus kick in the cream ale very nice.
The brews were force carbed at 30 psi.
Cream Ale is called Summer Sun and the cider is called Tyler Pearry
Sorry I'd pics are sideways. Don't know how to fix on my Samsung tablet.
