That does include a glass and beer.. so the retail price would be lower than 60$??? 40$?

No I'm pretty sure the $40 entry to the event is what gets you the swag. It also includes to ability to buy 3 bottles at $60 each.

Beginning at 12:00pm CST on Friday, October 2 and running through 11:59pm CST Friday, October 9 visit www.gooseisland.com/rareday to enter the lottery. You can enter the lottery once daily.
What could possibly go wrong with this event.wtf why?
Chicagoland jester thinks he's holding court.
that will flip for 4x if not more the price, just saying.. beer is dumb sometimes...
Wow...Rare Day, really?!
And did anyone happen to notice how many stupid chapter there are to this "documentary"? Chapter ******* 9: The Making of Rare 2: Expensive Boozaroo.
On a side note, what the ***** a Hailstorm took Silver at GABF for a poorly named Maibock.
For some reason, JEG has also blocked me on Facebook. No idea why though. He blocked me on Facebook lol.
I'm convinced no one in Chicago works on Fridays anyways. Why the **** is a session in the middle of a frid.....oh I forgot no one in Chicago works when beers are released
pretty spot on of the style who the **** cares what the name is? have you seen what pipeworks names there beers?
to each there own, Most beer names are sophomoric IMO... really it boils down to taste for me name be damned...Because Rock Out with Maibock Out is as sophomoric as Happy Ending or Big Tiddy Assassin. Style be damned...

So for a person+mule $440 for 6 bottles. Lol.
the irony of spending 400 dollars for 6 bottles of beer 4 blocks from east garfield is not lost on me.
Yeah, but but but...um....you can raffle a bottle off or something and make back your money....or, what about the trade value for one of the tens of thousands of bottles produced....or, um, it says Rare on it and it's in a box dude, do you even Craigslist, bro?
But is the box hand made with dovetail joints? Superstition raised the box bar by 1000.Wait--there is a box?! That changes everything.
Saw on Twitter no Mean Gene this year. Where's dan to give us the lowdown?
I'm actually pretty excited for Rare Day, which means I'm destined not to win a ticket. I'd pay $40 for some swag, the tour, and 6 pours of bourbon county variants. I'd buy 3 bottles of Rare too. Amortize that over 3 years I figure. I'm not going to open all 3 bottles that day. Sure I have to pay upfront, but I'll have bottles to enjoy for special occasions over a few years. Maybe it's just me needing a reason to get out of the house for a day. Beats me, but I thought the event looked pretty sweet when I saw it yesterday.
