Nope. Merchant du Vin decided to take Lambic national, and never bothered to tell me. I found out because someone was drinking it in some other state and tagged me to ask what was up. Therefore, it's no longer Publican Lambic, but it's still just as delicious as it has always been, and starting next month you can drink it at Publican Tavern at O'Hare when you travel.

Metropolitan has a newish (~1.5yrs) taproom that is walkable from Maplewood too. Awesome space and lagers.

Beer Temple close to it too.

Gonzoillini sent me one of the last batch and it was really *******. good. i never had hi-fi so no idea how close it was but i loved the "new" version.

they're pretty close, somethin is slightly diff with silkiness but i'd attribute that to a dumb accident of unfermentation at flossmoor. but that signature caraway subtle bite is so amazin, gotta try to peel away and get some saturday. didnt it hit distro a bit last year?

I personally witnessed a guy **** himself while fighting somebody at DLD. I would have loved a Hunter S Thompson piece on DLD.
