Ferrari bench capper

Anyone have issues with these denting the caps? I dont bottle much but this is irritating. I'm not sure it causes a bad seal from what I can tell.

I don't have that capper but I started with one of those hand held cappers and it always left a dent and never had a problem with the seal so you should be fine from that aspect.

The only issue I ever had with my Super Agata was to make sure the inside of the bell was kept lubricated...

I think I was forcing the lever too much causing the bell down way too far denting the cap. I just bottled some up for someone and didnt crank down on it too hard and seemed to be fine .

That sounds likely, may have been driving the cap-holding magnet a tad further down than the design expects...

I removed the magnet on mine. I found it more of a nuisance than a help.
