So for my first homebrew project I built a temperature controller with an Inkbird ITC and a bunch of spare junk I had laying around.

I didnt take any pictures during the process, but its all self explanatory, and the wiring diagram is as the manufacturer specified.

I used an old cigar box I had figuring it would be just about the right size to fit all the electronics, front side is the first attachment

Second attachment is the back, Clockwise from top left: IEC power in, 120v out (fan), thermometer wire, Heat outlet, Cool Outlet (those last two will be labeled or colored at some point). I also after the picture was taken cut a small notch where the lid closes so the temp probe and wire can be tucked inside if for storage if the need should arise.
Also visible is my assistant Mari who could care less about this project since its inedible.

Lastly, are the internals.... When I thought that the cigar box would be big enough, it was BARELY big enough to fit all the pieces inside, it was a challenge reattaching the shield covering the ITC terminals. If I decide to add anything to this controller I may have to find another enclosure!

Weird, I was able to view them incognito so I assumed they were public links. I'll update tonight

And right now a rather unceremoniously placed fan in the door that will pull air from the cooling/heating area and push it down into the fridge. This is a 12v fan from an old TV that I had too much fun tearing apart. I decided to use an old USB cable that had a messed up micro USB connector to step it down to 5v cheaply so it runs slower and quieter.

And lastly for now the back of the temp controller with a USB wall wart for the fan and the heat hooked up.
I learned that the IEC in port I used had a 2a fuse inline which blew the first time the fridge compressor kicked on and resulted in an embarrassing amount of troubleshooting before slapping myself in the head when I read what the fuse was rated for.
Luckily I'm not overly concerned with needing the fridge to cool since its still getting chilly at night and not much higher than 70 in the day till Monday when I can get a 10a fuse to match the relay rating.
