Fermenter question

I'm looking at a few of the larger induction tanks and am wondering if anyone has tried one of these.

First I've heard of these. Based on the product description though, it seems like they'd work just fine for a fermenter.

As far as working as a fermenter, it would. I think price and the amount you'd have to modify it would put it to a point where it may not be worth it though. You will need to drill the lid for an airlock/blow off as well as adapt the drain to fitting common hardware.

I think for the price, you can find something more suited to being used as a fermenter. Not sure if you're targeting conicals specifically but I've liked my Spiedels.
