Hi I've 2 demijohns on the go of turbo cider. They both bubbled away nicely for 5 days an suddenly stopped I used youngs cider yeast without having a hydrometer is there any way of knowing if it's ready for secondary? Is 5 days too soon to be finished?

Taste it to see how dry it is. 5 days can be a normal healthy fermentation time. Usually let it sit on the yeast for about 10-14 days to clean up then package or secondary depending on your philosophy.

I've jus had a good stir and suddenly it's started up again there's bubbles in the airlock again. I've added a second flavouring cranberry & raspberry to one of the demijohns and thats probably fermenting away now.

Hey, I also used Young's Cider Yeast and it done the exact same for me.
I worried at first but then read up on it, you're fine and shouldn't worry.

What juice did you use being in the UK? I use Sainsburys, but I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't..

I got juice from lidl. Nice an cheap. Still struggling to ferment though
