I live in AL and it's about to become hard to keep brew temps down. Would this chest freezer be a good option with a temperature override system?

I just need something that would hold two carboys and that I wouldn't have to do any modifications to.

That will work, but I just did a quick look on craigslist and found a bunch of older freezers for sale. You might want to check your area for any for sale. It could save you a bunch of cash.

Only way to know for sure is to bring your carboys to see if they fit, but it looks like the right idea for what you want to do.
