Hey all,

I was looking for suggestions on an upright freezer, small in footprint, but large enough to hold a 5 gallon carboy. My intentions were to put a temp controller on it and utilize it as a fermentation chamber and once fermentation is complete be occupied by a 5 gallon corny keg for a make shift keezer. I'm not really wanting a huge freezer just something with enough space and looking for some make/models that might work. Any suggestions are appreciated.... Cheers....:cask:

Chest freezers are cheep, they pretty much all work. With that setup though, you are looking at quite a bit of down time. Ideally you need two, one for the fermentation chamber, and one for the keezer. As you're drinking the keg, need to be brewing the next batch to refill.
