So i did not build a keezer but a chamber to control the temperature of my Yeast during Fermentation. Not rocket science but can get expensive. I did not want a very old freezer and had to have one where the shelf's were adjustable. i mounted the heater inside the riser tube; (the tall long tubing on the left just below the blower. so here is a list of what i I used.
1. 14 SF stand up freezer source = Craigslist
2. PID The Keg King Dual Controller source =William's Brewing page 25
3. Attwood Turbo 3000 Blower source = Jet.com
4. AC to 12VDC 30 amp Transformer source = Amazon
5. Heater Brew Belt source = Amazon
6. Stainless carboy Thermowell #A source = William's Brewing page 25
7. 4 amp fuse and inline fusible link source = Orileys auto parts
8. Stainless steel hardware for mounting the heat source = Lowes
9. 1" PVC White pipe source = Home Depot
10. 3" PVC white pipe and fittings source = Home Depot (not all carry so call ahead).
11. wire and crimps source = just laying around.
Notes; the shelf is a bit scary with a 5 gallon carboy on it so i will be making a support. Once that is done i can fit 4 5 gallon carboys inside.
The blower starts off pretty loud so not sure i would want it in the house
I hope you get good ideas from this
Cheers
