Well it's been quite some time since I have brewed....and I feel shame. So I decided to work from home this morning and take off the second half of the day and brew a batch of Dead Ringer IPA.

Wondering who else is brewing today and what is your flavor of the day?

This evening, my wife is busy with a work engagement, so I am bottling a batch of bourbon barrel aged American Barleywine, racking a Dortmunder Export lager and then lagering it, and then saving the yeast from the Dortmunder to use in another lager next week.

I brew on Fridays so my live-at-home daughter can help with the process. Today, we put a German-style hefe-weizen (I call it Weizenheimer) in the fermenter. With luck, we'll be ready to bottle it next Friday.
