In the next few days I have two big step-ups, first AG and first 10 gal. I have had success with a few PMs so I think it is time.
Here is the plan:
Eyehood porter, 10 gal
10 lb munich
10 lb 2-row
1.5 lb choc. malt
.5 lb black pat
1 lb flaked barley
.5 lb flaked wheat
60 min 2 oz cascade
15 min 1.5 oz cascade
10 min 1 oz williamette
5 min 1 oz williamette
ferment 5 gal with Wyeast Irish ale and 5 gal with Wyeast European ale
60 min boil, or maybe 75?
switch the second and last hop additions (i.e. cascade-williamette-williamette-cascade)?
-any comments/suggestions?
