We brewed a wheat ale last week.

Forgot to steep the grains, just tossed in the malt, hops and boiled as if it was done.

Then realized the mistake and steeps grains at 160 for about a half hour. Are we going to have a problem?

Did you steep the grains in the reheated wort or in a separate pot of water? If this was immediately after your boil but before the yeast was pitched, you should be fine.

Na don't worry about it. The steeping grain is there to add flavor as long as it wasn't steeped to hot it'll be fine just pitch the yeast and drink up when done.
