If I were to have an opportunity to brew on a 10bbl brewing system as opposes to the 5gallon home system (a difference of 305 gallons) I use now, what could I expect for ingredients? Is everything just multiplied? I'm asking because there may be an opportunity but I cannot find anything on extract brewing at this level. Thanks everyone for your help!!

The reason is cost. Extract is at least 2x the price of grains per point of gravity (it might actually be much higher I'm ball parking off kit prices not a grain price v extract price)... For the home brewer, this probably makes little difference if doing just 5 to 10 batches a year, esp when comparing agianst buying AG equipment and storage (my problem is more storage than AG price/time). Bries and others do sell lme by the 55gallon drum (about 700+lb)

Anyhow generally when scalling up I think the multiplying is done, the only caveat is that sometimes the hops need adjusting because of difference in bitterness extraction.

Extract brewing at that level would be extremely expensive...and cost prohibitive on a commercial level. But to calculate recipes at that level, it is just like scaling any recipe. It would not be a linear multiplication with hops or yeast in particular.
