I'm brewing a Belgian Dubbel (Charlie Papazian's Dubbel Your Pleasure) and the recipe calls for .7 kg extra-light dried malt extract. Unfortunately my local home brew store does not stock extra-light DME or LME!

I have plenty of light LME, so I was going to use that and lighten it up a bit with dextrose. Any thoughts on what ratio I should use? Is this a bad idea all together?

I know I could make my own x-light with grains, but I live 5 hours from the nearest brew supply store, so I'm stuck with what I have.

Thanks! :mug:
