extended time in primary

My honey ale has been in primary since 05/13. The n00b here just realised that i didnt get any extra bottle caps. I am leaving town for two weeks, and that would bring the time to almost 37 days in primary. Can someone tell me to slow my roll and have another HB.

Relax, I just held a cream ale in primary for 7 weeks without any problem (forgot about it in my basement).

Unless you are aging for >2 months the only reason you would need to use a 2ndary is to help clear the beer a bit.
