I have few items which I used a few years ago and they are well past their expiry dates. I wonder if they are still useful or better get rid of them. They are:
Beer finings
Campden tablets for preserving and sterlizing
Yeast nutrient
Pectolase
Bruclens cleaner and steriliser

Any info of what to do with these will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I personally would toss them and get new fresh items. No use risking a batch of brew over some inexpensive items that are questionable.

yeast nutrient should be good,

dito for campden tabs...

finings could be oxidized maybe?

pectolase, maybe use more?

i honestly never heard of bruclens....

(my two cents, based on simple chemicals, to enzymes, to i don't know) :mug:

I'm not sure what the lifespan is on pectolase or that particular cleaner/sanitizer but the finings, campden and nutrient will be fine.

Thank you all so much for your comments and tips.
Have a great day
