Hello all, I am hoping to tap into the collective knowledge (pun intended) for this issue I am having with my keezer build:

I picked up several Celli european style faucets, and the flow control mechanism ends in an elongated cone (I am attaching photos). With this cone I am having trouble hooking up a standard shank... the only combination of adapters/collars/etc. I could possibly make work ended up being a long structure that will require ~1.25” holes, instead of the 7/8” holes I have been planning (last photo). I haven't drilled anything yet, but:

Is there a different sort of shank that will hook up to these faucets directly?

Am I missing some sort of adapter that would make the connection less long/cumbersome?

Thank you for your advice!
