ok, so this weird name has a lot of history today, on November 06 my house was flooded, in a matter of 10 minutes the water ran wild i traied to save the most importants things in the truck but all my brewery equipment was lost in the house, most of my grains were on the spark car, that was left on the house, yesterday i went to my house to pick the car and other things. its was a surprise to me that the Cream Ale kit on the car was in good conditions, its a brewers friend cream ale kit.

also some grains pilsner and wheat on the small kettle were safe and sound, they are dirty but there are no signs of water on the packets, so i decided to brew this thing, out o the kit, the caps and 1 pound of pilsner extract are damage, but i have grains to compliment the pilsner extract, the yeast its on the fridge that was out of power for about 4 days so its probably wasted, today im going to clean sanitize the kettles, i will have to brew without siphon, hydrometer or termometer since they are bad even my balances are bad, so its going to be a challenge, i dont dont its i can use my bucket fermenters or not, of if the temperature of my place will be good for this brew since i lost my temperature contolled fridge too.

First off, I'm sorry about your situation. At least you'll have beer soon.

If you have lid for the kettle you could ferment in there. Just steam sanitize it over the kettle for a minute or two during the last few mins of the boil and should be good to go.

Good luck to you.

so today was the big day, after some days of cleaning, i clean the kettle, the bucket fermenter, and the airlock, i decided not to use the light pilsner extract DME one pound was ok, but i want to save it for making yeaste starter since i cant get DME in my country, so i make the wort with 3 pound of pilsner for the 2 pound of DME, then used the LME on the can and the hops following the schedule, i used a disc miller so i got it grinded too fine and im seeing some particles on the wort, OG its 1050 and it has an expecteed FG of 1010.

i used a BRY 97 west coast ale yeast. lets see in 10 days what its the result.
