Just saw a listing by some people who got a storage shed auction. 6 corny kegs for $20 each. Two 6 gallon carboys $20-$24. Also a bunch of 3 liter cans. I don't know if these have any value/use or not. The kegs look like Pepsi but not sure. Can anyone here tell because the people there don't know what they have.

Look like ball lock kegs to me. If they pass visual inspection (look inside to make sure they have all their diptubes!), $20 each is definitely worth a shot, and a great deal if they hold pressure.

Are the carboys glass? If they're old school heavy duty Italian made then that's a fair deal (but not a great deal--craigslist is full of glass carboys). If you like glass carboys. If you are just starting out, you might consider one of many plastic options out there (safer!).

Those mini-kegs look like they'd be of value to someone with a "party-star" type system; the kegs alone run ~$18:

(Probably not much value to you if you are planning on a full kegerator/keezer set-up)

Thanks. It's a 2 hour drive each way for me to check these out. Trying to see if they have enough to make the trip worthwhile.

The soda kegs are ball locks. They should be worth $20 if they hold pressure but that's hard to determine on a casual trip to someone's house. Often a soda company will pressurize to 130psi to check the seams for leaks, and if the keg passes, they send it out to be sold used. A good supply of spare parts is helpful such as o rings (Ball locks use 5 o rings each keg). Its worth a look.
