(I am getting Honey from the store tonight is there anything else anyone would recommend for someone just starting out? I have been watching many videos and reading what I can online. Are there anymore pieces of equipment I should get or any other items to use?)

How about a 5 gallon bucket and a 5 gallon carboy?

Or are you just making 1 gal of mead?

Just one gallon for now getting a feel for it then if it goes well going for the bigger buckets and carboys.

That’s how I do it. Start with more than one gal. in the 2 gal. bucket and rack into a 1 gal. glass jug when it’s close to final gravity.
