Equinox Hops

I am planning on a Black IPA and I've really taken to Equinox hops as of late. Haven't tried making a beer with them, but would Equinox hops work well in a Black IPA? I would be using mostly midnight wheat and maybe some carafa III for color. Also, what are some hop combinations that go well with Equinox? I've only had single hopped beers that contain Equinox, but I've really enjoyed this years Southern Tier 2XONE that only uses Superior Pale malt and Equinox hops.
