I would like some opinion on electric kettles . I would like a single vessel system but am not sure if I need the pump or not . I have read many complaints about temp inconsistency so that bothers me some . I do have a bag that I would probably use , but wouldn’t if I could get good results without . Thanks
Mike

I have a Grainfather . Had it for a couple years roughly and I love it. It keeps mash temp where I want it . It does take a little bit of time to heat up to a boil but the footprint is so small. The app for the Gf is really good when used for recipes . The water calculations are spot on everytime . Some have issues with the plug and some haven't. A pump is beneficial to keeping the mash temp perfect as well as cooling using the cfc that comes with it. It's also a big help in transferring to a fermenter. There are different all in 1 electric systems out there. Check them out and then you can decide what you want .

I have the Brewer's Edge Mash and Boil. I've never had an issue and really like the system. I just bought an anvil recirc pump to use during the mash. Temps stay pretty consistent, but I also give the grain a stir here and there and do a manual recirc by opening the valve, filling a small glass container and pouring it back on top of the grain bed. The pump will simplify the process and be a little more efficient I feel. My issue with the all in one is that my brew days are increasing and would like the ability to brew larger volume.

I tried to look for a good kettle but seems like there are just too many brands... Any recommedation?

The Hamilton Beach one looks decent Best Pre Ground Coffee (i like the glass ones) but there are just too many bad reviews

I don't think those fellas were talking about the same kind of thing you're asking about. Actually, I'm positive.
