I would like to make a beer the color of Paulaner Salvator. What should have ebc?

The colour is measured in EBC ( European Beer Color ) units in europe ( I live in Italy)
EBC = 2.65 SRM – 1.2
from 1991
SRM X 1.97 = EBC and EBC / 1.97 = SRM

Ah ok, you should update your profile location. According to the BJCP the SRM for Doppelbocks can range from 6-25! I would personally shoot for about 20 SRM or 39.4 EBC...

Designing Great Beers uses Salvator as a color reference. It's 21 SRM. Half Bass, half Salvator, in case you were wondering, is 15.4 SRM....
