Does anyone have experience growing hops that mature early? I'm asking because it's near the end of May and my hop plants are only a few feet tall. In theory, they should be 8-10 feet and ready to throw side branches in two weeks. I think I am faced with a short growing season at my altitude, as it's only been two weeks since the last frost.

My mystery hop plant is about two feet tall and I planted in early April. I think it could be all the overcastness we've been having these last few months, but I really don't know.

Basically, I'm saying I'm in the same boat as you, and I'm here to help row.
