Hi all, I bought a 55# bag of wheat malt and a 55# bag of German Pilsner to have grain for a wheat wine I am brewing in the near future, but in the meantime I'd like to brew something tasty with Pilsner and wheat and I figured I'd give a shot at a dunkelweizen. I've cobbled this plan together from a variety of sources, including recipes from Zymurgy as well as a few examples here. Please let me know what you think!

Recipe Type: All Grain
Yeast: WLP300 Hefeweizen Ale Yeast
Yeast Starter: 1 liter starter
Batch Size (Gallons): 5.5
Original Gravity: 1.053
Final Gravity: 1.014
IBU: 18
Boiling Time (Minutes): 60
Color: 16
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): 14 days @70*

4.5# Wheat malt
3# Munich light
3# German Pilsner
8oz CaraAroma
2oz Carafa II special

0.5 oz Nugget – 60 min

Many thanks for your input!
