I am looking at two kits that are around the same price and one comes with a dual regulator and the other one uses one regulator and a splitter. Is one better then the other??

Two regulators would be much better. You could have different serving pressure or you could force carb one keg while the other is at serving pressure. I use a dual reg with a splitter for my 3 keg system.

ok i will go with the dual regulator setup im going to get it with picnic faucets and then just replace them with nice stainless or chrome taps and build a home made dual tower out of PVC. Do i still need to buy faucet shanks if im going to make a tower?
