I always made extract, and all grain brews, never used dry malt. So, do you just heat your water up and disolve it? When is it added? How is it used?

I've had my best success adding it to warming water. Be sure to take it off of any heat first. Stir it some. It will clump on you.

You can also let it sit for a while while it dissolves.

Once dissolved then you can put it back on the heat and boil as you would any other malt.
