Hi,

I brewed a Chinook IPA and used fresh (wet) hops from my garden. I will be racking it to the secondary and will dry hop it this weekend.

Will fresh/wet (picked that morning) hops be ok to dry hop? I dont think it will matter. Just wondering what the ratio would be. I have read a 6 to 1 ratio in the boil. I used my wet hops at 0mins (about 8oz). The sample tasted amazing :)

Cheers.

Yes, dry hopping with those hops should work well! My hops were done early this year, so I'm already drinking the beer that was "dry" hopped with freshly picked Centennials. It came out great. I used 12oz of the fresh hops, keeping that 6 to 1 recipe in mind.

Thanks!
I will pick the rest of my hops this weekend and add some Chinook wet hop to the secondary.

Here is a picture of the Chinook i picked right before i started the boil for my Chinook IPA.
