Dry Hopping question

When you dry hop, how do you go about sterilizing the hops before you add them? Thanks.

Dry hop when you transfer to the secondary. You should sterilize any grain bags or weights like marbles if you are using them, but the hops themselves won't allow any bacteria or other undesirables to grow on them, so you just put them in as is.

Hops themselves are preservatives that fight off bacteria and wild spores.

the suggestion to sanitize the bag you may put them in and any weights you might add is a very good idea.
