Inquiring minds would like to know about dry hopping when i have a CDA that needs an ounce of cascades for 5-7 days yet I wont keg until probably 14-17 more days once my next keg kicks. Should I try to time it and wait a bit, or throw it in a hop bag and retrieve after 7 days if its not ready for keg?

I am leaning towards trying to time it 5-7 days before I think a keg will free up because i dont want to use a hop bag as that increases chance of contamination even though I would dunk it in star san and i dont want the hops to lose aroma.

All of this is due to having too much beer on hand and a little pipeline flowing. So not a problem at all in the scope of things!

Why not let it sit in the fermenter till you are ready? Once the keg is close or empty dry hop for however you want.
