I was about to add my second batch of dry hops to a Pliny clone recipe when I discovered this wierd stuff floating in my fermenter. I am using a muslin bag for dry hopping. I soaked the bag in Starsan before adding it to the fermenter. This is a secondary fermenter so I can't imagine the floating stuff is yeast. It smells hoppy. Am I toast? Anyone see this before?

Doesn't look like an infection to me, is it possible you somehow stirred up the yeast in bottom of the bucket? That's what it looks like to me.

The bag may hold the hops but Lupelin is really fine and has probably floated out of the bag. I would think it would dissolve but if the gravity is too high it might not.
