I've left dryhops in up to 15 days without off flavors. I tend to do this with staged additions adding my dryhops at 5 day intervals.

Sorry about a semi-hijack...

I've recently brewed an IPA that I loosely based off of Volition (PM) in the recipe section. It says to dry hop in secondary for 21 days. Is this a problem? I was thinking about not doing secondary and dry hopping in keg, which would be more than 21 days if my force carb time and personal consumption calculations are correct. What off-flavors do I risk?

Many of the hoppy beers that I like call for 14 days of dryhop and that is what I do....they all taste great. I'm pretty sure once the flavor is extracted, the spent hop material is not going to do anything to hurt your beer (within reason, ie, 2-3 weeks).
