Drinking my first carbed HB.

Well i went and garbed one of my beers from my first batch today after almost two weeks bottling, just for a taste. It was very, very good nicely carbonated and everything. I am now on number 4. needless to say i am hooked. Im not so sure this batch is going to last very long. I think i am confident enough in this batch to send a few to my dad. Only problem i can taste is from squeezing the specialty grains, not a bad taste just a little too much of the crystal 40. Oh well best way to learn is from messing up. Over all I am very happy with making the investment into this hobby. :rockin:

Congratulations on your first Ryan, mine wasn't all that great. I still got half the batch sitting around, and I'm on to my sixth in 3 months.

Off topic, but I noticed that you are a part of Mavs Rugby. I go to UTA and have a couple of buddies named Ryan, are you by chance an Ad major? Odd question, but not many people here from Arlingfun (lived there for years, and still pretty much do), so I was just being a little nosey. Congrats on your first HB
