How does one go about putting holes for blow off hoses etc. in rubber stoppers? What I'm actually trying to do is make a 2 holed stopper for using a venturi type siphon with the carboy. Or does someone sell these 2 holed stoppers already?

Cheers

I've read somewhere that you can drill them just fine if you first freeze them in liquid nitrogen.

This assumes, of course, that coming up with liquid nitrogen isn't a problem for you. You might try to make friends with the physics department at the nearest university...

I drilled one to make Pol's thermometer adapter.

Just make sure you have a good grip on the stopper, and drill slow.
