Hi all

I am planning a double mash IPA this weekend and planning to do like this:

1. Do the first mash without sparging in order to get a good thick wort with a high OG.
2. Return the wort to the mash tun and do a second mash in the wort with the same amount of malt.

How do I handle it in Beersmith? Do i make 2 receipes and what about OG ?

Out of curiousity, why are you doing this? I don't think there is a direct way to calculate this using Beersmith.

don't. once you get sugar out keep it out. the only way you would want to do this is if you had a re circulation setup.
