Doodles from The Mead Book

When I'm researching and adding to my little notebook of homebrewing information, sometimes I like to doodle a concept or just for fun. I thought I'd include some of those here, maybe you'll get a chuckle from the final photo. Disclaimer, I stopped being an artist years ago, so these aren't much to look at. A little background on the last one: I had included the question and answer to "What does it mean to "punch the cap?"" in my notebook on a previous page, but I thought I needed an illustration just to make sure everyone understands what I'm going to do to that darn cap. I wanted to draw a few other poses with it too, but decided on filling the rest of the page with the score. Me 1, cap 0.

I’m glad you like my very… eloquent research c: I’ll be sure to share more in this thread if I have any future eurekas and brain blasts. I’m open to suggestions if you need any illustrated concepts. I was thinking I could next examine yeast drugs- I mean DAP. Oh no, I think I’m having a brain blast right now…

My previously mentioned brain blast was about the yeast nutrients. Fermaid O (healthy but not very fun), DAP (yeast drugs), Fermaid K (healthy with fun), and a handful of raisins. I have nothing against the raisins, I just think that character is silly.

Overall, I think I lost the plot, but it was fun. Hopefully educational for someone out there...? I hope I haven't offended any fans of using a single handful of raisins, but you know what you did. Also hope you don't mind my handwriting.
