So the mash is done and it's time to sparge, I open the valve and nothing...15 pounds is too much for a 5 gallon mash tun...blowing air in to the hose makes a mess and pisses off the wife!

Try to contain a foamer with your thumb... It just sprays all over. Don't do that.

don't transport hot wort in a way that can spill even 2 cups can cause a very nasty burn.
