60 minutes is the average time for most brews.

...and many folks here on the board have had good results and recommend adding at least a portion of your LME later in the boil. And removing from heat when adding the LME. Depending on your setup, this can help prevent kettle scorching or boilovers, should keep the SRM in line with the recipe's color, etc. There are a few threads on LME here that are worth a quick read.
