I want to brew a batch for a birthday party. I'm looking for a crowd pleaser and wheat beers usually do the trick. This is what I've come up with.

Fermentables:
6 lbs wheat LME
3 lbs light LME

Steeping grains:
.75 lbs crystal 20
.5 lbs white wheat
.25 lbs honey malt

Hops:
.5 oz Amarillo @ 25 min
.5 oz Amarillo @ 5 min
1 oz cascade dry hop

Other:
zest of 4 oranges @10 min
whirfloc at 10 min

Yeast:
US05

I probably don't need the dryhop, but I have an extra oz of cascade that I need to get rid of. Would it work better somewhere in the boil?

That recipe looks good, I would recomend WB-06 if it's a wheat beer. I have had good luck with it.

I'd do the zest at flameout or even a bit later, to keep more of the aromatics. Looks good, though.

Actually, isn't that only about 12 IBUs? What style are you shooting for?

Mostly a wheat, but the crowd will be mainly bmc drinkers. I thought it'd be best to keep the ibu low.
