Does this look like a good crush?

Looks sorta like my last batch from my LHBS. Not great, but probably workable.

Are the grains that look whole at least crushed/cracked? Can you take one and put it between your fingers and feel it give?

I haven't opened the bag yet. There seems to be a bunch of the white wheat that looks whole. Can I use a rolling pin and break them down further? I don't have a grain crusher/mill.

Even a food processor or a blender will help with any uncrushed grain.

Better than a rolling pin, anyway... at least if you are going a BIAB route. If using a more traditional method, you might get too much "flour" that way.

I mash in a bag in a cooler so I could have it fine without an issue. Maybe I should buy a mill. Anyone recommend a corona style mill?
