I know that's an unordinary term to explain flavor...
I think that it may be suspended yeast or something...

It may be lme twang.. I don't know the best way to term it.. it like a....
rear tongue linger. Kind of a mouthy feel with luga luga luga!!!

I'd use the word sucky rather than swampy, but yeah, it's not a great yeast. I used it once and never again. US-05 or Nottingham are two fantastic dried yeasts, and I'd go with them every time.

when I first started to homebrew I bought a Brewers Best kit that mistakenly came with a packet muntons and the gravity just wouldn't get down to the target. I posted my complaints here on HBT and "stever" recommended that I use nottingham instead. I took his advice and I have been completely happy with every batch ever since. I'd only use muntons for something like root beer...

The swampy or weedy taste that you describe is what my palate associates with green beer. Give it three more weeks and see if it still has the same flavor.

I'll certainly be using a new yeast and let this beer mature more...
