I will be doing all grain batches and I will be batch sparging. I won't be doing BIAB so will I need to modify my brew kettle so no bits of hops get into my primary?

i whirlpool while i'm chiling with my immersion chiller.Thanks! I already have a big ass spoon! When should I do the whirlpool? Before or after cooling the wort?
IC goes in 15 minutes before the boil ends to sanitize, then start the whirlpool at flameout. I continue to poolin until i've hit my pitching temps, then pump into the fermenter instead of back into the boil kettle.So do you put your IC in and then start whirlpooling and then give it a few mins to settle or what?
